NFZ invites public to 27 October event as part of nationwide 'Childhood Without Violence' campaign
The Zachodniopomorskie branch of the National Health Fund is hosting a public discussion on 27 October in Szczecin on recognising and responding to violence against children. Experts from local social and children's rights organisations will take part.

The Zachodniopomorskie Regional Branch of the National Health Fund (NFZ) will hold a meeting on Tuesday, 27 October, from 10:00 to 12:00 at its office at ul. Arkońska 45 in Szczecin (Narodowy Fundusz Zdrowia po raz kolejny włączył się w ogólnopolską kampanię „;Dzieciństwo bez Przemocy”;, zapraszamy na wydarzenie 27 października – NFZ – Zachodniopomorski Oddział Wojewódzki).
Experts from the Social Services Centre in Szczecin and the Zachodniopomorskie branch of the Association of Friends of Children will take part.
What the discussion covers
Participants will be able to ask questions about the signs that may point to violence in a child's behaviour, what steps to take when abuse is suspected, and where people who have experienced violence can find help.
The wider campaign
The campaign was launched in the Zachodniopomorskie region on 6 October by the Fundacja Dajemy Dzieciom Siłę (Foundation We Give Children Strength). The NFZ has joined the nationwide initiative for the second time, taking on its patronage and supporting its educational activities.
Other prevention events
The same regional branch has also promoted a prevention day in Kołobrzeg on 6 September, offering body composition analysis, blood pressure and oxygen saturation checks, and information on screening programmes (Profilaktyka- podaj dalej! Biała Niedziela w Kołobrzegu – NFZ – Zachodniopomorski Oddział Wojewódzki). A spirometry day for lung function testing was held at the Szczecin office on 30 September (Polski Dzień Spirometrii w Zachodniopomorskim Oddziale Wojewódzkim Narodowego Funduszu Zdrowia – NFZ – Zachodniopomorski Oddział Wojewódzki).
