Ukrainian press reports that the authorities of the Polish city of Przemyśl decided to suspend cooperation with Lviv due to a resolution of the Lviv regional council, which declared the year 2027 as the year of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) and Roman Shukhevych. According to Українська правда, this decision was made unanimously by 21 councilors, who deemed the resolution offensive to the memory of Polish UPA victims and contrary to the efforts to build relationships based on mutual respect. It is also said that cooperation may be resumed if the Lviv council officially withdraws its resolution (Перемишль призупинить партнерство зі Львовом через рішення про рік УПА – Українська правда).
