Magdalena Ogórek joins TAK! Channel as shareholder after buying 33.3% stake

Ogórek takes a one-third stake

Magdalena Ogórek has bought a 33.3 per cent share in Trzej Muszkieterowie, the company that runs the Kanał TAK! online channel (Magdalena Ogórek ma nową pracę. Odkupiła pakiet udziałów. The stake came from Artur Chodziński, a former officer of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA), who had been a shareholder in the firm. Ogórek now holds more shares than any other partner. The price of the transaction has not been disclosed.

Other shareholders

The remaining shares are held by the three co-founders of the channel: Marcin Tulicki, Michał Adamczyk and Michał Karnowski, each with 22.2 per cent.

Role on the channel

Ogórek will appear on air as one of the main faces of the project. She said in an interview with Wirtualnemedia.pl that November would be taken up by work on a new programme schedule, which she described as broader than the offer the channel has shown so far. She summed up the plan as a fast start for the channel.

Background

Ogórek left the wPolsce24 channel in late September, after several years there and at public broadcaster TVP. She previously ran the programme Studio Magdaleny Ogórek on wPolsce24. She also ran as a presidential candidate for the Left.
