Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport in south-eastern Poland welcomed its millionth passenger of the year on Thursday (Milion pasażerów na lotnisku w Jasionce. Władze wskazują na problemy – Bankier.pl). The airport reached the threshold in October, somewhat later than in the previous year. Carpatia Biznes reported that the millionth traveller of 2025 arrived in September.

Management points to stable traffic

Airport management says passenger traffic has stayed stable and describes this year's results as very good. The summer holiday months went well, although the season as a whole was harder.

Carpatia Biznes reported that this year's final total will not necessarily set a new record. Passenger numbers depend partly on the situation in the aviation market.

New charter routes and runway work

The airport plans to add new charter destinations, which the regional business press has linked to next year's holiday schedule. Its plans also include further modernisation of its infrastructure and the second stage of runway renovation.
