What happened

The incident took place on Monday, around 11 a.m., at the Municipal Kindergarten in Jedlicze. The ambulance was taking part in an educational demonstration of medical rescue techniques led by lecturers and students of the Ratownictwo medyczne programme at the State Academy of Applied Sciences in Krosno. Investigation and detentions

The Krosno District Prosecutor's Office opened an investigation into exposing the child to danger and causing serious bodily harm through negligence. The driver of the ambulance and two kindergarten staff members were detained, and a breath test showed no alcohol. Three people, including the driver and two caregivers, were questioned as witnesses. No one has been charged so far, and prosecutors said the classification of the case cannot change until charges are brought.
