Trump declares Oval Office a national monument to limit future changes

Proclamation covers four rooms in the West Wing

Trump signed a proclamation establishing the Oval Office National Monument, which covers the Oval Office (room 110), the Outer Oval Office (rooms 106 and 108) and the Cabinet Room (room 105) in the West Wing (Трамп оголосив Овальний кабінет національною пам’яткою: що тепер заборонено змінювати – TSN). The White House said the boundaries take in the smallest area needed to preserve and manage these historic spaces.

Restrictions and their limits

Trump said nobody would be allowed to touch, destroy or tear down the room, arguing that "foolish" people might otherwise try to build something of a different shape (Трамп забараніў будучым прэзідэнтам ЗША перабудоўваць Авальны кабінет, які ён адрамантаваў – Nasza Niwa). Background: Trump's changes to the White House

During his second term Trump has made the Oval Office considerably more ornate, adding gold elements and a large number of sculptures and trophies (Zachovat vizáž, kterou vtiskl Bílému domu.
