New oncology facilities open in Warsaw

The Bielański Hospital has opened an Oncology Robotic Centre, a day chemotherapy ward and renovated diagnostic labs. (Nowe centrum robotyczne i oddziały w Szpitalu Bielańskim. Their combined cost came to almost 103 mln zł.

What was built

The day chemotherapy ward has 13 beds. The endoscopy area of the gastroenterology department was also modernised. Space was prepared for the robotic centre, where a da Vinci surgical robot will assist surgeons during procedures. The investment is meant to expand minimally invasive treatment and speed up cancer diagnostics, making oncology services easier to access.
