Two teams with different form

Korona Kielce enter the match after two straight defeats. The side lost 1:2 at home to first-division Polonia Warszawa in the Polish Cup, then fell 0:1 to Zagłębie Lubin in the league. In Lubin, the only goal came from an own goal by Marcel Pięczek, and Kielce dominated possession without finding a way through the opposing defence (PKO BP Ekstraklasa: Korona Kielce - Radomiak Radom. Radomiak arrive in a better mood. Under coach John Carver, the side had lost five matches in a row before beating Śląsk Wrocław 3:1 at home in the previous round, which lifted it out of the relegation zone.
