Two districts came under fire early on November 7. In Darnytskyi, a drone struck a two-story private house, and firefighters put out the blaze. In Sviatoshynskyi, rescuers contained a fire on rubbish at an abandoned industrial site and a smaller fire on the roof of a non-residential building. In Solomianskyi, a fire broke out and residential buildings, a preschool institution and another non-residential building were damaged.

In Solomianskyi, part of the first-floor facade of a five-storey residential building was destroyed, the emergency service said.

Northern Bridge closed

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said the attack damaged the Northern Bridge. Specialists were assessing the extent of the damage, and the bridge was closed to traffic in both directions (Northern Bridge in Kyiv damaged in Russian attack – Ukrinform).
