Drone fell between dormitory and academic building

Russian forces struck the Koziatyn community in Vinnytsia region on November 1 with a drone. Revised death toll

Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration head Nataliia Zabolotna initially put the death toll at two, naming a man among the victims (Two killed, three injured in Russian attack on Vinnytsia region – Ukrinform). In a later update, she named the dead as a 13-year-old girl, killed on the spot, and a woman who died in hospital. The man named in the first statement was not among the dead.

Four of the injured are children

Two other adults were also hurt. Early reports described the children's injuries as moderate, before the update on the girl's condition (In Vinnytsia region, two people were killed and three children were injured in a Russian strike – antikor.info).

Medical care and response

The injured were taken to medical facilities, where they received treatment. Rescue and medical teams were working at the site after the strike. The regional administration has not said how many people remain in hospital beyond the children named in its statements.
