Hourly power outage schedules are set to begin for household consumers in selected Ukrainian areas at 7:00 and continue until the end of the day on Sunday, October 25 (У частині областей 25 жовтня діятимуть графіки відключень світла – Suspilne) (Одна-дві черги без електрики: кому готуватися до сидіння в темряві з самого ранку – znaj.ua). Ukrenergo states that the scope of these restrictions for homes will involve one to two queues. The duration of the power loss for any specific address depends on the queue it falls under.

Industrial Limits and Causes

Industrial facilities will be subject to power capacity restriction schedules from 6:00 to 23:59. The operator attributes these measures to the repercussions of extensive Russian assaults on energy infrastructure. Ukrenergo advised that the state of the power system could shift as a result of shelling and encouraged consumers to monitor updates from their local distribution operators.

Ukrenergo also requested that consumers use electricity sparingly during the period of outages.
