Mena's first senior call-up

Colombia's head coach Néstor Lorenzo has announced a new squad for two upcoming friendly matches. The Colombians will face Chile twice, on 14 November and 18 November (Ogromne wyróżnienie Camilo Meny, może zagrać w kadrze Kolumbii – Wyniki na żywo). Among the names is winger Camilo Mena of Korona Kielce, who has been called into the senior national team for the first time in his career (Camilo Mena doceniony. Mena has been one of Korona's most productive attacking players since the summer. Korona is his third club in Poland. Korona sits 10th in the league table after 13 rounds.

Luis Díaz left out

Lorenzo has passed over Luis Díaz for this window, while still including Mena. The matches are seen as a chance for the coaching staff to rotate the squad and give opportunities to players who rarely start for the national team.

What comes next

Colombia will play Chile on 14 November and again on 18 November. Mena's involvement in those games will depend on Lorenzo's selection, which has not yet been confirmed for the matchday lineups.
