According to the Ukrainian Європейська правда, Lithuania plans that in June 2027, there will be a vote in the European Union on abolishing seasonal time changes. The Deputy Minister of Transport of Lithuania, Lukas Pashkevicius, noted that this topic will be discussed at an informal meeting of transport ministers of EU countries in February 2027, and the vote will take place at the end of June when Lithuania will be presiding over the EU Council. Pashkevicius added that Lithuania has been in talks with other member states to include this issue on the agenda.
