Mystic Festival 2027 adds Killswitch Engage, Sinister, Castle Rat and SLIFT to its lineup

In brief

• Mystic Festival 2027 has added four bands: Killswitch Engage, Sinister, Castle Rat and SLIFT.
• The festival runs June 10 to 12, 2027, at Gdańsk Letnica.
• Killswitch Engage, the Massachusetts metalcore group, is the biggest name in the new announcement.
• Faith No More, Helloween and Marilyn Manson were already confirmed as headliners.

Four new bands join the lineup

Organizers of Mystic Festival have added four acts to the 2027 lineup, only two days after their previous announcement. The headliner of the new group is Killswitch Engage, the American band from Massachusetts that has been among the defining names of metalcore for more than two decades (Mystic Festival 2027 nie zwalnia tempa! Kolejne gwiazdy dołączają do święta metalu – Interia Muzyka) (Mystic Festival 2027 ogłasza kolejne gwiazdy! Killswitch Engage, Sinister, Castle Rat i Slift zagrają w Gdańsku – liverock.pl) (Ikona metalcore’u na Mystic Festival 2027! Cztery nowe ekipy w składzie imprezy – terazmuzyka.pl). Their sound mixes sharp, aggressive riffs with melodic, soaring vocal passages.

The other newcomers are Dutch death metal veterans Sinister, French trio SLIFT, and Castle Rat from the United States. Sinister bring a brutal, old-school take on death metal. SLIFT play a mix of psychedelic rock, stoner and experimental heavy music that leans toward space rock and improvised passages. Castle Rat combine classic doom metal with a theatrical fantasy aesthetic on stage.
