Sylwia Peretti shares what she found at her son's grave after All Saints' Day

In brief

• Sylwia Peretti showed on social media the grave of her son Patryk after All Saints' Day, where she found a mug left by someone else.
• In a recent podcast she described a painful meeting with the parents of another young man killed in the 2023 Kraków crash.
• Her husband Łukasz was arrested in June 2026 on suspicion of fraud involving over PLN 7.5 million.

A gift at the grave

Sylwia Peretti visited the cemetery where her son Patryk is buried in the days around All Saints' Day, which fell on 1 November. She shared photographs of the grave, which was covered in candles, lanterns and flowers (Sylwia Peretti odwiedziła grób syna po Wszystkich Świętych i pokazała, co na nią tam czekało (FOTO) – Pudelek.pl). Among the decorations she noticed an object that she had not left there herself: a mug, which she described as a gift from someone who wanted to support her in this difficult period (Sylwia Peretti odwiedziła grób syna. Background to the visit

Patryk, who was 24, died in July 2023 in a car crash near the Dębnicki Bridge in Kraków. Three other young men died in the same accident (Sylwia Peretti SPOTKAŁA SIĘ z rodzicami chłopaka, który zginął w wypadku z jej synem: "Wyłyśmy, dźwięki były nieludzkie" – pudelek.pl) (Sylwia Peretti dostała prezent, o jakim nawet nie marzyła. „Mam wrażenie, że na moment mogę cofnąć czas” – Kozaczek). Since then Peretti has spoken publicly about her grief and has at times withdrawn from public life, posting mostly black-and-white photographs of her son.

Recent public appearances

After a long silence she has returned to the media in recent months, giving interviews and publishing a book. In a recent podcast conversation with Małgorzata Ohme she spoke about her meeting with the parents of the other young man who died in the crash, describing the moment as very painful; she recalled that the women cried together and that the sounds were hard to bear. In the same interview she was asked whether her husband Łukasz was still her husband, and answered that he still was (Sylwia Peretti zapytana o to, czy Łukasz nadal jest jej mężem: "JESZCZE TAK". Szykuje się rozwód? – pudelek.pl).

Her husband's detention

Łukasz was arrested in late June 2026 by officers of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau.
