Doctor from Lublin shares a high-stakes Milionerzy story from his days in emergency care

Marcel Łoza, a physician who grew up in Lublin but studied in Warsaw, appeared on episode 155 of Milionerzy, which airs Monday to Thursday at 19:55 on Polsat. He told the host that he is in the middle of a psychiatry specialization and has a specialization exam due in two weeks.

Years in a Mexican emergency room

Before returning to Poland, Łoza worked in an emergency department in Mexico. Speaking about his time there, he said the Polish healthcare system is not as bad as it is often portrayed. He recalled a patient who arrived with a calf cut by a machete and claimed she had been cutting grass. The doctor said he still does not know whether to believe her.
