Mostostal Warszawa has signed an agreement with Poznan University of Technology to design and build an extension to one of the university's buildings. The contract is worth PLN 307.32 million gross and is being carried out in the design-and-build formula (Mostostal Warszawa najgorsze ma już za sobą? The new facility will house a Centre for Sustainable Development Technologies and a Centre for New Technologies and Innovation. Part of the structure will be underground and will serve a protective function.

Significance for the company

The contract is Mostostal Warszawa's first large order in many months. It comes as the company is pursuing measures to improve its financial position. An extraordinary shareholders' meeting on 30 October approved a resolution to issue up to 100 million new shares at an issue price of at least PLN 2.75 per share.

The company's share price was PLN 3.71 at the time of the contract announcement, with no change on the day.
