Stanisław Chomski will continue to lead the Polish speedway national team after the 2026 season. The head of the Main Sports Committee for Speedway, Ireneusz Igielski, announced the decision on Thursday morning in an official statement (Wyjaśniła się przyszłość selekcjonera reprezentacji Polski! Season review
Poland's goal in 2026 was to win the Speedway of Nations title at PGE Narodowy in Warsaw. The team fell short. Australia were stronger, Denmark also finished ahead of Poland, and the Polish side settled for bronze.
The federation did not signal major criticism of Chomski's work over the season, and that was a key factor in keeping him on.
