Rocket fuel plant in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky

Ukrainian forces hit the Kombinat Kamenskij enterprise in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Rostov region, overnight into Saturday, according to the Ukrainian General Staff. The plant makes solid rocket fuel (Rostovas apgabalā triecienā cietusi raķešu degvielas rūpnīca – DELFI.lv) (Ukrajinské neptuny zasáhly ruský závod na výrobu raketového paliva – Novinky.cz). A fire broke out in a finished-goods workshop, and four production shops were damaged.

The plant supplies munitions for the Uragan, Smerch and Tornado-S multiple rocket launchers, as well as air-launched weapons. The General Staff said strikes on solid fuel production reduce Russia's ability to shell Ukrainian towns with rocket artillery.

Wider overnight attacks

Ukraine also said it hit four Russian military logistics depots in occupied parts of the Donetsk, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia regions. Drones struck an oil refinery in Ufa, Bashkortostan, where a fire was reported, though the extent of damage was not known.

Deep-strike campaign

President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukrainian long-range drones and missiles can now reach Russian targets from the Yamal peninsula to western Siberia, and that Kyiv is working to extend that range further He said the deep-strike units will be expanded, drawing on the Security Service of Ukraine, the Alpha special operations centre and intelligence bodies. Zelensky framed the strikes as a response to Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities and as pressure on Moscow to end the war.
